You won’t be able to make calls, send text messages, connect to the mobile network, or do anything else on the SIM card after that.

However, there are a few options for resolving the issue, the most important of which is to contact your carrier provider.

Solution 1: Turned On/Off Airplane Mode

The procedure is straightforward that is turn off your phone, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. Rebooting your device resets the system and reconnects your device, SIM card, and network provider.
Solution 3: Verify that the SIM Card is Properly Inserted
Check to see if the SIM card is correctly inserted. An ill-fitting SIM could also be the blame for the problem. It’s possible that the SIM card slot is poorly designed.
Turn off the phone and look for the SIM card (the SIM card can be found on an older model of phone by sliding or popping open the back panel).

Turn your phone off altogether.
Remove your phone’s SIM card tray.
Look for debris, dust, or other foreign particles on the SIM card. If you find one, carefully clean it with a dry, soft cloth.
You may also use a pressurized can to blast dry air into the SIM port. That is not something you should do with your mouth.
After that, properly reinstall the SIM card and turn on your phone.
Wait for the network to come up for a few minutes.
Solution 5: Try to Activate or Re-register the SIM Card
